About Us

Our Lady of the Rosary Columbiette Auxiliary 13153 is a community of Catholic women who work side by side with Knights of Columbus Council 13153. Rooted in faith, friendship, and service, we are dedicated to charitable works, spiritual growth, and the promotion of Catholic values.

We work together, pray together, and enjoy fellowship together. Through our shared faith and service, members build lasting friendships and meaningful support systems while making a positive difference in our parish and community.

Our History

Our Lady of the Rosary Auxiliary 13153 was founded in March 2025 at Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church.

The Columbiettes meet on the first Tuesday of each month. We gather with the Knights of Columbus to pray the Rosary and share a light dinner before holding our monthly meeting.

Faith in Action

The Columbiettes are dedicated to serving those in need and supporting the life of our parish. Members contribute their individual talents to a wide range of spiritual, charitable, and community projects.

Throughout Saint John of the Cross, Columbiettes may be found:

  • Singing in the choir
  • Serving as ushers and sacristans
  • Serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
  • Proclaiming the Word as lectors
  • Assisting in the parish Food Pantry
  • Serving as catechists and aides in the Faith Formation Program
  • Supporting parish, community, and Knights of Columbus activities

We are ordinary women doing extraordinary things through faith, compassion, and service. We proudly reach out to those who are less fortunate, help meet the needs of people in our community and around the world, support the preservation of family life, and respond to the spiritual and charitable needs of the Church.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support the local Knights of Columbus council in its spiritual, social, and charitable activities while providing Catholic women with opportunities to grow in faith, serve others, and build lasting friendships.

Membership

Membership is open to Catholic women who are 18 years of age or older and in good standing with the Catholic Church. You do not need to be related to a member of the Knights of Columbus to join.

Time Commitment

Members select the projects and activities in which they wish to participate. Most volunteer opportunities require an average commitment of one to four hours, and the number of available projects varies from month to month.

Members are also invited to attend monthly business meetings and occasional social functions. Attendance is encouraged but is not required.
