Our food pantry serves over 70 needy families every
other week on Friday morning. Over the past year, we
distributed over 3,500 bags of groceries. Annualized,
this amounts to feeding over 1600 families. Yes, we
have a generous parish.
There are many people in our area who need our help.
We ask that you continue to bring food items to our parish ‘bin’. Any non-perishable
food is greatly appreciated. We have a local farmer in our parish area who has
dedicated a parcel of land for the hungry. In season, he offers us vegetables that we
pick up and distribute. Our pantry is also an agency partner with the Treasure Coast
Food Bank, which provides us with meats, fresh vegetables and some packaged food.
If you would like to be further generous, gift cards, or checks noted for “Food Pantry:
for food purchases are also welcome. We buy eggs, milk and other necessities for each
distribution. Especially around the time of various holidays including Thanksgiving,
Christmas, Easter, etc., gift cards for turkeys, hams, etc. are very welcome
